Will a Tacoma plumber come across the bridge to Gig Harbor?
Yes. Gig Harbor is across the Narrows Bridge from Tacoma, and Mike comes over regularly. The bridge toll and the backups set your arrival window more than the miles do, so Gig Harbor jobs are booked with that in mind instead of being squeezed onto the end of a Tacoma day.

Who supplies your water here is not one answer
In Tacoma the water is Tacoma Water and that is that. Around Gig Harbor it depends on the address. The city's own water system serves roughly a third of the people inside the city limits and the growth area around it. The rest are on Washington Water Service, Peninsula Light Water, or their own well.
Sewer inside the city is the city's own, treated at its plant off Harborview Drive. Outside the city a lot of properties are on a septic system instead, which changes what a slow drain means: it is running to a tank on your own land rather than to a main somebody else maintains. Mike does not do septic work, and a camera down the line tells you which side of that boundary your problem is on before anyone starts digging.
Backflow testing, and why it comes up out here
Mike is certified for backflow testing. It is the check that stops water running the wrong way back into the supply, and it is the kind of work that comes up where properties have irrigation, a well, or a system that is not a straight connection to a city main. If you have been told you need a test, he can do it.
