Water Heaters

Call (253) 740-3248

Should you repair or replace your water heater?

It is usually a repair if the heater is fairly young, and a replacement if the tank itself is leaking or the heater is well past its normal age. The U.S. Department of Energy says most tank water heaters last 10 to 15 years, and tankless ones can last more than 20. A younger heater that has stopped making hot water often needs just one part or an adjustment. Mike checks the heater and puts the price in writing before any work starts.

Is your water cold and lukewarm? It might be time for a new water heater. There are other options that we can present. Such as tankless water heater, newer Efficient water heaters or it may just be a simple adjustment to your existing unit. Chances are, if your water heater has never been adjusted or replaced, it may be that time! Call Mike’s plumbing and we will evaluate your water heater and give you a fair bid that you can live with.
